Diddy Monkeying Around UK in April

Nintendo has announced Rare's DS remake of the N64 classic Diddy Kong Racing - featuring a new online mode and touch screen features - will be dashing into European stores on April 20.

Featuring a cast of nauseatingly cute characters, Diddy Kong Racing is a significantly different experience to hit racer Mario Kart DS. There's an actual single-layer story mode featuring an angry magic pig, three different vehicles types to drive, as well as a host of touchscreen features.

Additions to the DS version include the ability to create your own tracks and then share or race them with pals. Plus, there's single-cart multiplay for up to eight racers and you and five other players can head online to take part in single races, trophy races, battles, Token Tussles and Wish Races - which probably come in threes.
