Posted in the news section of the official site, the announcement states that the issue has been resolved and the map pack is now "fully available", as opposed to partially available. Or perhaps somewhat available.
For those of you who downloaded the update on the 18th, you can now download the Title Update which will sort you out. No wasted points, very little wasted bandwidth. The Title Update also "remedies key issues regarding Ranked Lobbies and Ranked Matches that some users have experienced." Plus, if you deleted the demo in an act of passionate rage, you can download it again, free of charge.
So there you have it. It's taken a little while, but one of the best online shooters for the 360 has its new maps. Now hurry up and get on with the killing!
