Aloisi on Pro Evo 6

With the release of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 set for release, Australian gamers are itching to get their hands on the game.

They're not the only ones.

We'll be reviewing it here as soon as we can get our boots on it, but in the meantime our friends at Fox Sports GameZone hit up Australia striker John Aloisi to chat football.

The Socceroos goal ace, who scored the best netbuster of the World Cup at Germany 2006 in our opinion - jinking through Japan in the first game before blasting the ball home - was good enough to call in from European quarters and answer a few questions for the Zoners.

GameZone: Who's the best player you've ever played with?

John Aloisi: Mark Bresciano

GameZone: Have you looked at yourself in Pro Evolution Soccer 2007? Does your electronic self add up to the real you?

John Aloisi: The game is very realistic. I miss goals in the game like I do in real life.

GameZone: Do you play many video games, and if so, which is your favourite?

John Aloisi: I sometimes play games (often when travelling). My new favourite is Pro Evolution Soccer!

GameZone: No surprises, mate. So what's the worst thing about being a pro footballer, and what's the best?

John Aloisi: Worst is definitely injuries, and best is scoring goals.

GameZone: Have you considered playing in the A-League before you retire?

John Aloisi: Absolutely. I'd love to play in Australia before I retire.

GameZone: Can you remember the first goal you ever scored and how did you celebrate?

John Aloisi: I was five years old, and ran around like crazy.

GameZone: What's the best goal you've ever scored?

John Aloisi: Every goal is a great goal.

GameZone: How does playing in England compare to playing on the continent?

John Aloisi: England is a lot faster and direct, playing on the Continent is more tactical and technical.

GameZone: Which coach has taught you the most about the game?

John Aloisi: Javier Aguirre of Athletico Madrid. I was coached by him at Osasuna.

GameZone: Who is your biggest influence?

John Aloisi: My Dad and brother Ross, who plays for Adelaide United in the A-League.
