Bully Busts Out

Take-Two sends its latest bad boy to retailers.

Now that its report card is filled out (from the looks of it, the parents should be proud), Rockstar's Bully is graduating to retailers across North America. Take-Two this week ships the scholastic action title, defying controversy and even its own mature-themed reputation (see Grand Theft Auto) to offer an open-ended adventure set in the complex social swirl of the schoolyard.

Developed by Rockstar Vancouver, Bully puts players in the role of 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins, who struggles to succeed at Bullworth Academy both in and out of classes. Jimmy faces competing school cliques -- jocks, nerds, preppies, etc. -- and must stand up for himself and others while still getting to class.

Bully is rated "T" for Teen. The game will arrive in Europe on October 27 with the title Canis Canem Edit.
