Justice League's Unlockable Heroes

Hal Jordan, Aquaman and Green Arrow to the rescue!

While Marvel has enjoyed a rebirth of its comic-book characters in videogames, DC's heroes have not had such luck. That is about to change as a new era of DC-related videogames arrive. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is ready to storm Xbox and PS2 next week with Justice League Heroes.

As it should, the revival of DC-related videogames begins with the Justice League. Building on both current and former League members, Heroes gives gamers the chance to play as Superman, Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, the Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman and Zatanna right out the gate. However, there are other unlockable characters that can also help battle the forces of evil.

Through the course of the game, you'll have the opportunity to unlock Green Arrow, Aquaman, Hawkgirl, Huntress and two other Green Lanterns -- Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan.

You can check out the team of Green Arrow and Aquaman as well as a teaming of Huntress and Hawkgirl in two new exclusive videos.

While there's no new video, we do have some fresh screens of the unlockable Lanterns. Each Lantern is a unique model, with different animations and weapon effects. More over, these characters are not just alternate costumes, but individual characters. That means you can team up two Lanterns to tackle missions.
