Round 3 Swings in December

Just weeks after unveiling the first playable version of EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 for PlayStation 3 at a New York event, Electronic Arts announced an official release date -- as the photorealistic brawler will reach Sony's new console on December 12.

In addition to the same detailed boxing action that gamers saw in the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 edition adds split-screen multiplayer bouts, a first-person "Get in the Ring" mode, and integrated live updates via ESPN. Expect improved visual details and a few other minor fixes here and there.
