F.E.A.R. Strikes X360

Don't be afraid -- it's just a demo of the upcoming game.

Today, Microsoft released a demo of upcoming first-person shooter F.E.A.R. through the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace.

F.E.A.R. is the port of the award-winning survival horror PC game of the same name. Developed by Day 1 and published by Vivendi, F.E.A.R. puts the player deep into scary territory as part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: eliminate the intruders at any cost, determine the origin of the signal, and contain the potential crisis before it gets out of control. The intruders? They're totally scary ghosts. You're like Ghostbusters if they were equipped from the stuff in G.R.A.W.

The demo clocks in at a whopping 542.16 MB and includes about 10-15 minutes of in-game action and adventure. F.E.A.R is scheduled to ship for X360 on November 7 and as a PlayStation 3 launch title November 17.
