FIFA's User Chants

That's right, you can put yourself into the game with the next DS rendition.

Soccer season is quickly approaching, and with it comes the most popular soccer game, FIFA. For the newest entry into the long standing soccer franchise, Electronic Arts has revealed some exclusive features on the Nintendo DS.

Let's face it, "Ole! Ole Ole Ole!" is so 2006. So for the first time in any FIFA game, players can create their own chants. By using the microphone built into the DS, players can record their voice, and mix in authentic sound effects, making a cheer that is completely their own. The custom cheers can be played back on demand.

EA has also added in a feature they're calling Touch Run. Using the touch screen, players can send their offensive men on precise attacks, allowing the player to create new and dangerous corner kicks and throw ins.

The new features will hopefully add some extra life into an already solid series. FIFA 07 kicks its way into stores October 3.
