Winning Eleven Delayed

Japanese release pushed back from late September.

The DS had a killer lineup for September over in Japan, with Pokemon Diamond & Pearl preceding the release of Winning Eleven. Now it looks like the system is going to have to do with just one of those two killer titles.

Konami has postponed the release of Winning Eleven DS across the Pacific. Originally scheduled for release on 9/21, the game is now listed with a Fall 2006 date. No reason was announced for the delay.

Winning Eleven DS was set to launch both on its own and as part of a bundle that included a specially designed black DS Lite. The bundle has been delayed as well.

The US version of Winning Eleven DS is set for release early next year under the name Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.
