Chromehounds? Goldhounds!

SEGA sent along word today that Chromehounds -- a mech-alicious shooter for Xbox 360 -- is now officially gold, meaning that the game is considered code-complete and ready for massive industrial duplication.

Developed by FromSoftware, Chromehounds offers squad-based mechanized combat, with an emphasis on customization and multiplayer battles. Chromehounds features a persistent Neroimus war mode in addition to more-standard modes such as flag, deathmatch, and free battle.

Look for Chromehounds to reach shelves on July 11.
