Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Achieves Gold Belt

Namco Bandai Games America Inc. announced today that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja has graduated from the ninja academy and gone gold for the PlayStation 2.

Based on the hit anime series, this fighting game promises intense martial arts action wrapped in the cell-shaded ninja world of Naruto. With 14 playable characters, Naruto: Ultimate Hero features a variety of fighting moves, including base, combos, super, and projectile attacks. With lush environments playable on two different planes, the game offers four exciting gameplay modes and a series of in-game collectible items, including trading cards, toys, music, and movies..

Developed by CyberConnect 2, known for the .hack series, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja's commencement ceremony is planned for June 26.
