The critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 received another when it was awarded a highly prestigious Yellow Pencil at the The D&AD Global Awards 2006 that took place earlier this week. The awards recognise the very best in design, advertising and creative communication around the world, and are judged by the world's leading creative practitioners. This year was the first time videogames were acknowledged with their own category and Resident Evil 4 picked up the award for Outstanding Achievement.
D&D President Dick Powell commented: 'The D&AD awards celebrate innovation and creativity across many different media and we are really pleased to now include videogames. With Resident Evil 4 Capcom has certainly set a high standard for future nominees.'
