Star Fox Renamed

When Nintendo announced Star Fox DS at the Electronic Entertainment Expo just a few weeks ago, the company did so with "Temporary Title" slapped right next to it.

Though the company has yet to officially confirm it through its normal PR chains, but Nintendo has quietly revealed on its official site that the Star Fox DS name will probably change to its new title: Star Fox Command.

This new name most likely refers to the game's somewhat strategic element of plotting out the course of players' Arwing craft during a mission using the Nintendo DS touch-screen before and after the action.

We'll have more on Star Fox DS (now marked Star Fox Command in our database until Nintendo tells us otherwise) as it creeps closer to its late August release date.
