PGR 3: Introducing the V Series

IGN Cars loves the Cadillac V Series in real life because, well, those cars rule. You can read about it here. But how do the three downloadable Cadillacs do in Project Gotham Racing 3, a game in which you can drive some of the finest cars in the world? Meh.

Compared to the Ferrari Enzo -- well, there is no comparison. You won't notice much of a difference in handling between the CTS-V, the XLR-V and the STS-V. The XLR is a bit more maneuverable while each has varying top speeds and acceleration. All three are firmly planted toward the lower end of the performance ladder in PGR 3.

But that's not really the point. PGR 3 lets you get behind the wheel of some of your favorite cars on the road, and as much as I like driving a Honda Civic in Grand Turismo because I own one, I imagine it's much the same for Cadillac owners and this new downloadable pack. But who cares -- they're all free!

Of course, you could earn yourself an elite Cadillac gamerpic if you score in the top 100 race times online on the Nurburgring F1 Circuit, after which you will become the envy of PGR and Cadillac fans the world over.
