E3 2006: Spider-Man 3 Release Date Announced

During their pre-E3 press briefing today, Activision confirmed the release date of Spider-Man 3. The game will be released in May of 2007 around the same time as the movie.

Presumably follow the plot of the movie, Spider-Man 3 is scheduled to be released on next-generation consoles. The company didn't show any actual game footage of the game. A technical demo featuring Spider-Man running around was shown. Further details of the game were not revealed, however.
