Videogame Vegetables Coming Soon

Today Crave, in agreement with Big Idea, announced it is bringing LarryBoy and the Bad Apple, the first Veggie Tales console videogame adventure, to PlayStation 2 and GameBoy Advance.

Veggie Tales is a popular childrens' animated series that stars adventuresome vegetables in parables and lessons from a Judeo-Christian worldview.

The titular character in LarryBoy and the Bad Apple is a crime fighting cucumber with a plunger for a head. LarryBoy's mission is to save the citizens of the veggie tales town of Bumblyberg "from temptation." LarryBoy is armed with "clever use of his super-suction ears and the many features of the Larry-Mobile." What sort of temptation is avoided with the help of a cucumber that sucks? We'll all have to wait until the game arrives later this summer to find out.
