2K Sports today announced the arrival of Major League Baseball 2K6 -- perfectly timed to Opening Day of the MLB season. The game is now reaching store shelves in PlayStation 2 and Xbox flavors.

Along with updated rosters, for this iteration MLB 2K6 offers the new Swing Stick swinging mechanic, Payoff Pitching, Inside Edge technology, Pure Motion Physics, World Baseball Classic Mode, new catcher mechanics, and commentary featuring Jon Miller and Joe Morgan.
