7 Studios Goes 360

Fantastic Four / Defender developer to embrace the next generation.

Los Angeles-based developer 7 Studios is currently building its first PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game according to various job listings found all over the Internet. Posted under the radar late last week, the listing for the new "Unannounced Next-Gen Project" reveals that the team is looking for a PS3 programmer to help out with proprietary technologies.

Founded in 1999, 7 Studios has development games for a wide variety of publishers including THQ, Activision, Sony Digital, and Midway, and are responsible for such titles as Defender, Fantastic Four, and Legion. The team's next announced project is the current-gen action title, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow for Bethesda Softworks. A publisher for the unannounced PS3 / 360 IP wasn't revealed.

More as it develops.
