Star Wars: Empire at War Conquers Retail

Today LucasArts announced the arrival of Star Wars: Empire at War at North American retailers. Gamers now have a chance to grab developer Petroglyph's real-time strategy take on George Lucas' venerable franchise. The game also arrives as a special Collector's Edition, which includes bonus maps, exclusive concept art, special packaging, and other goodies.

Empire at War bridges Episode III and Episode IV as wars rage for control of the galaxy after the devastation of the Clone Wars and in the wake of the Jedi slaughter. The game lets players wage war on ground and in space, as well as experience the creation of the Rebel Alliance, the strengthening of the Empire, and the beginnings of the Galactic Civil War.
