Big EverQuest II Update Is Live

Sony Online announced that Live Update 19 would be on the servers as of today, and it brings a host of changes and additions to the game world. From the sound of it, just about every aspect of the game has been tweaked. For one, starting classes will be more distinct, with unique armor, abilities and spells. You'll also choose your final class at the start, rather than waiting until level 20. High-level players will also see a renovated Solusek's Eye, with new loot and a storyline that leads into the Kingdom of Sky expansion pack. Other changes include cross-factional mail, improved mentoring and Writs system, and extensive interface adjustments. Kingdom of Sky is scheduled for release on February 21st, and PvP servers are slated for the end of the month.
