Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires Attacks in March

A real warrior is unstoppable. Today KOEI announced Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, a version of Dynasty Warriors 5 now seasoned with a tasty tincture of strategy. The title is developed by KOEI's internal Omega Force studio.

In Empires, players can now issue orders directly to officers -- or signal general commands to officers in the field -- having armies take the offensive, stand ground, or form an ambush. Empires lets players choose officers for an attack force, recruit captives, and dismiss officers from the kingdom. The game adds 25 new policies for greater control over Government, Product Development, Diplomacy and Battle Tactics.

Other features include four unlockable scenarios, two-player co-op play in "Empire" and "Free" modes, new items to unlock, and control of more than 200 officers. The game even includes a history of Ancient China.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires is slated for release on March 28.
