First Look: Over the Hedge

Publisher Activision is set to release the videogame version of Over the Hedge on GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. The title follows the storyline and styles of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation feature of the same name, enabling gamers to become a wild animal and tear around and beyond a mysterious hedge.

According to Activision, gamers assume the role of characters including RJ the raccoon, Verne the turtle, Hammy the squirrel and Stella the skunk, and explore a suburban neighborhood filled with traps and other various obstacles. In addition, the title boasts dozens of puzzles and mini-games and a two-player cooperative mode.
