Gamers Get Second Ice Age

Put on your wooly scarf: a second Ice Age is coming. Today VU Games announced it will publish the official videogame based on 20th Century Fox's Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.

Ice Age 2 takes players to a "melting paradise" of water parks, geysers, and tar pits. Returning characters Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger return to discover that melting glaciers will flood their valley. Players help Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel dig, sniff, swim, and roll to collect acorns -- and save everyone from a massive flood in the process.

Ice Age 2 is scheduled to arrive in spring 2006 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and PC. The film will reach theaters on March 31, 2006.
