Sega Ships Condemned: Criminal Origins

Be prepared for the fright of your life.

SEGAŽ of America, Inc. today announced that its upcoming first-person psychological thriller Condemned: Criminal Origins&153; has shipped to retailers nationwide and is available for the Xbox 360&153; video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Described by Official Xbox Magazine as "suspenseful, scary, and downright twisted," Condemned: Criminal Origins allows players to experience a heightened level of psychological tension as they use their instincts, forensic tools, and melee combat to track serial killers and bring them to justice.

"Condemned: Criminal Origins has been built from the ground up for the Xbox 360; this game could not be made on current-generation technology," said Scott A Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. "Photorealistic environments and strategic enemy AI combine to create a terrifying next-generation experience."

When played in 5.1 surround sound, this game is an aural assault on the senses. Gruesome weapons can be improvised by clever gamers - paper-cutter handles, wooden planks, and mannequin arms can be used to attack opponents. Enemies don't merely run at the player; they find an appropriately powerful weapon to attack with, then hide in the shadows, waiting for an open opportunity to strike.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is rated "M" (Mature) by the ESRB and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $59.99. For more information about Condemned: Criminal Origins, please visit www.condemnedgame.com.
