Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood Ships

The World War II shooter sequel is officially rolling.

Ubisoft announced today that the Xbox and PC versions of Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood are now shipping to North American retail. The PlayStation 2 version is expected later this month.

The second chapter the WWII military shooter series, Earned In Blood features a new single-player story, new multiplayer missions, an all-new cooperative-style game mode, and new weapons and vehicles.

"Our dream with Brothers In Arms is to use the video game medium to experience what it was like for the soldiers of the 101st Airborne in World War II," said Randy Pitchford, president of developer Gearbox Software. "With Earned in Blood, we've created a bigger, better and memorable true story experience that puts you into the boots of a real soldier with a real squad in a real war."

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB.
