Black & White 2 Achieves Gold

Let's all give the boys at Lionhead a big hand (cursor): Peter Molyneux's strategy/god-sim sequel Black & White 2 is officially gold, according to a giddy graphical announcement on the game's web site.

Like the first game, Black & White 2 focuses on moral choices and uses an AI system that can support an almost infinite number of experiences and player persona. The 3D world now has new weapons, technology, and smarter creatures who can learn strategies and master new abilities and skills. Black & White 2 also touts improved graphics and miracle effects, weather systems, the ability to to tap resources and disciples, and advanced city building and wall construction. Perhaps most signficantly, the sequel gives you real command over armies and believers, whether you choose to peacefully expand your influence or simply clobber all into submission.

Look for Black & White 2 to reach stores the first week of October.
