Shaolin Monks Prepare to Fight

Midway announced today that Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is officially gold -- i.e., the game's development is complete. The title will now head to manufacturing to make its kicking and punching retail debut the week of September 19.

Shaolin Monks is an "action-fighting" spin-off of the classic Mortal Kombat fighting series. Play as either Kung Lau or Liu Kang as you fight your way through the history, lore, and characters of the Mortal Kombat universe. For plenty more on the game, check out our full coverage so far.
