God of War Goes Hollywood

Variety, the entertainment inudstry's trade journal, reported today that Universal Pictures secured the film rights to Sony Computer Entertainment's blockbuster PS2 hit God of War.

While not much information is available on the film project at this time, Mosaic Media Group's Charles Roven and Alex Gartner will produce the feature adaptation with a writer and director to be selected later (no one has heard from Uwe Boll...yet!).
