The True Crime of New York

Activision reveals first screens and one game detail. Boo-ya!

It's not hard to be sneaky in the doldrums of summer, but Activision has been oh-so-sneaky today by revealing the first concrete detail behind this fall's new True Crime game. It takes place in New York City.

Whoa.

This then answers another question, the name of the game, which is True Crime: New York City. Double whoa.

What else do we know? True Crime: New York City stars an all new lead character, a tough looking, African-American dude with really big corn rows and a smoking gun. Not only can he drive cars this time around, but he handles motorcycles, and he can use the environment -- such as a hot stove burner -- to trash his enemies. We also know that this sequel is huge and much better looking than the first one.

Future Media's PSM has the exclusive cover story, due in their upcoming magazine, which was received by subscribers last week and will hit newsstands by the end of next week.

We'll have more on True Crime New York City soon. In the meantime, check out their new Website.
