New Pokemon XD GameCube Bundle

Pokemon fans may want to head to Japan this summer. Nintendo will release a new GameCube bundle to promote the upcoming Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. Those purchasing the bundle will score a copy of Gale of Darkness, a silverGameCube system and a standard memory card.

As an added bonus, the packaging boasts a snazzy piece of art from the anticipated title. Expect the bundle to hit retailers in Japan on August 4, 2005 and carry a price tag of 16,800 yen.

As of this writing, Nintendo could not confirm whether such a bundle would hit US retailers, but such a move is likely to happen.
