Blizzard Entertainment Acquires Swingin' Ape Studios

Developers of StarCraft: Ghost come into the fold.

Blizzard Enterainment announced today that it has finalized acquisition of Swingin' Ape Studios, the developers working on StarCraft: Ghost. According to the terms of the agreement, Blizzard will retain Swingin' Ape's 40 developers and its proprietary dev technology. Steve Ranck, president and co-founder of SA, will assume the title of "vice president of console development," and the SA offices will remain in their current southern California location. Financial details were not disclosed.
