Pre-E3 2005: SSX a No-show?

Conspicuously absent from Electronic Arts' E3 2005 games list is the tentatively titled SSX On Tour. As of press time, we have not received official comment from Electronic Arts, largely because press time is 7:30 on the Saturday before what promises to be the biggest E3 of our time and we didn't bother to call anybody. But hey-hey!

The next SSX snowboarding title, which now also includes skiing, was officially announced on May 4th of this year. Along with the announcement came the promise that it would be available this fall on PlayStation 2, Xbox and Gamecube. Screenshots and a trailer were also released at that time.

The official company blurb:
"SSX On Tour is a completely fresh take on the SSX franchise. Building on the core speed and trick gameplay that has been so successful in the past, you can now choose your way to become a black diamond rockstar."
