Dead to Rights Hits PSP

Namco puts Jack Slate in your hands.

Namco today announced Dead to Rights: Reckoning for the PSP, bringing the series' noir-inspired action to Sony's portable system.

Scheduled for release this summer, Reckoning returns to crime-infested Grant City, as an important informant is kidnapped on the eve of the investigation of a major crime lord. Anticipating the worst if the crime boss is not brought to justice, Jack Slate and his K-9 companion Shadow thrust themselves into hostile gang territory to save the informant and bring peace to the City.

Namco says the title will take full advantage of the PSP hardware, including the prerequisite "advanced" graphics, surround audio. Also mentioned is a new camera system designed to best take advantage of the PSP's widescreen display. Jack will also have a new set of weapons and moves -- handy in either the single-player game or in Reckoning's head-to-head wireless multiplayer.
