Kingdom Hearts Goes Platinum

Square Enix announced today that shipments of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for Game Boy Advance have topped the million mark in total shipments across North America and Japan. Specific numbers per territory were not provided.

In total, the Kingdom Hearts series has reached five million units shipped worldwide. As part of its press release, Square Enix stated that it's currently at work on Kingdom Hearts 2, which can be considered a sequel to Chain of Memories.
