Tekken 5's Secret Characters

As a special treat for late night website browsers, Namco revealed some brand new images and information regarding four of the hidden characters in its upcoming PlayStation 2 fighting game, Tekken 5. Though the existence of these characters was already known thanks to their appearances in the arcade version, hi-res PS2 shots of the combatants have been almost impossible to find -- that is, until now. Listed below are the four unlockable characters and a brief description of who they are:

Anna Williams: Sister of Nina Williams (who was badass enough to get her own action-based videogame), and a master of Assassination-style martial arts.

Baek Doo San: Hwoarang's master and champion of Tae Kwon Do.

Roger Jr: A second-generation military kangaroo developed through sophisticated genetic engineering experiments. His style is that of a commando.

Wang Jinrei: A veteran heavyweight from China, he is a master of Xing Yi Liu He Quan.

As an added bonus to tonight's update, Namco has also revealed a couple of new images that reflect how players can customize their characters. Similar to the feature found in 2003's Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, this modification can be accessed by using the prize money from your matches to buy items and alternate colors. Accessories like glasses, beanies, completely different costumes, and other such upgrades can also be purchased, and most of them can be mixed and matched in several different ways.
