Tekken Included in Tekken 5

Namco will be reviving the fighting game that started it all on the PlayStation for the PS2 release of Tekken 5 (we're going to ignore Tohshinden because it deserves both to be ignored and to be spelled incorrectly). Retailers in Japan report that Tekken 5 will include, as a bonus, a complete port of the original arcade Tekken. This is on top of extra content that includes an action-based mode of play.

It's unclear if Namco will be redoing the game to run natively on the PS2, or if it will just be placing the original PlayStation version on the Tekken 5 disk. If redone for the PS2, we'd expect perfect visuals along with load times improved over the PlayStation version.

Tekken 5, along with this awesome bonus, is set for Japanese release on 3/31.
