We're Flat, We Fight, We're Totally Portable

Capcom confirmed today that Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower will be published in North America as a launch title for the PSP's big Stateside debut.

Previously confirmed only in Japan, Darkstalkers rejuvenates the classic 2D fighting franchise for Sony's new handheld system. The new title includes all 18 monsters from the original games, as well as WiFi support for handheld multiplayer madness.

"Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower is the first handheld fighting game to actually exceed its arcade and home console predecessors," said Todd Thorson, director of marketing Capcom Entertainment. "With all new game modes to the franchise and wireless battles, Darkstalkers Chronicles on the PSP is a must have."
