Gamers like their heroes to be darker, more tattooed according to Ubisoft. Since its release, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has managed to double the sales of its predecessor, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. A total of 1.8 million units have been delivered in the first two weeks alone.
"With this second opus for the Prince of Persia® brand, Ubisoft proves once again its ability to firmly establish its brands during a holiday season exceptionally rich in hit titles," said Yves Guillemot, President and CEO of Ubisoft.
