Return of the Sith

Ready your lightsabers, gather your Force powers: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for the Xbox is now shipping to North American retailers. The PC version is expected to hit in February.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, The Sith Lords builds on the award-winning game play and depth of last year's Knights of the Old Republic. The new story takes place five years after the events of the first game. The Jedi, nearly brought to an end by the Sith, are on the brink of extinction. The galaxy is in turmoil and the Republic no longer has the strength to protect its worlds. Needless to say, you're going to play a role in the fate of the galaxy.

The Sith Lords features seven worlds, a new cast of characters, new weapons and Force powers, and another nuanced, epic story. Star Wars and RPG fans have a lot to be excited about.

As a bonus, The Sith Lords includes a playable demo of Lucasarts' upcoming Star Wars Republic Commando, a first-person shooter set at the beginning of the Clone Wars.
