Electronic Arts today announced that Need for Speed Underground 2 has shipped to North American retail for the GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, PC, and Xbox.
The sequel to one of last year's biggest titles, NFSU2 offers a huge freely-roamable world, 125 miles of road to race, and enough tuning options (EA suggests "70 billion possible car combinations") to send even hardcore gearheads into a spasm.
The new Speed also offers new game modes -- StreetX, Downhill Drift and the Underground Racing League -- as well as online play for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. Even the already-impressive graphics engine has been improved.
Hot for the road? Check out all our NFSU2 coverage, then check for the game at your local store.
