Moving to the City

The Urbz invade stores everywhere.

While PC gamers have their own new Sims to manage, Electronic Arts today offer console gamers the metropolitan alternative: The Urbz: Sims in the City has shipped across North America for the GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. (The Nintendo DS version is set to hit November 16 in time for the system's launch).

Taking the Sims experience to the style-conscious world of the big city, The Urbz will challenge you to make cool friends, nab a hip job, get in with the right folks in each of the city's districts, and generally build your reputation as ceaselessly hip. The Sims may be about swimming pools and perfect kitchen wallpaper. This time, it's nightlife and fast living.

"The Urbz: Sims in the City is all about three things: cool city style, building your reputation, and living the dream in a 24/7 city that never sleeps. It gives players the opportunity to create and control their sims in a completely unique way and in a very different environment," said Sinjin Bain, Executive Producer and Vice President. "We're thrilled with the new experience we're able to offer our millions of fans."

The Urbz is rated "T" for Teen.
