E3 2004: Vin Diesel to Appear at E3

It was announced today that movie star Vin Diesel will be stopping by the Vivendi Universal booth at E3 in order to promote The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

The game is based on events that take place before Pitch Black and deals with Riddick's escape from a maximum security prison. Not only is Vin Diesel promoting a game based on a movie that he stars in. The game is being published in conjunction with Diesel's Tigon studios. No word on if he will also be announcing a clothing line or a Vin Diesel energy drink.

Diesel is scheduled to appear this Thursday afternoon. Chronicles of Riddick is will be released in conjunction with the movies in early June. The game will be available on Xbox and you can check out our hands-on here. Stick with IGN for all of the latest celebrity news straight from E3.
