Transformers Goes Gold

In news that's sure to please fans of a certain group of robots in disguise, the team at Atari has announced that its licensed action title Transformers has now gone gold. Scheduled to ship on May 11, Transformers will allow players to assume the roles of Optimus Prime, Red Alert, and Hot Shot as they combine forces and wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons! Da-da-da-daaaa-da-da-da-duh-daaa!
