As many Final Fantasy XI fans are aware, Square Enix's PlayOnline service has updated its servers and implemented a patch for both the PC and PlayStation 2 versions of the game. Coming in at 40 and 22MB respectively for each download, the latest updates have fixed a number of small game-related hitches while adding one significant one: that is, the inclusion of the long awaited player vs. player mini-game known as "Conquest." Details of exactly how Conquest works can be found in this article we ran on the feature last month, so be sure and check it out.
