(NASDAQ: TTWO), announced today that it has shipped Vietcong?: Fist Alpha, the official mission pack for Vietcong(tm), to retail outlets nationwide. Gathering has also shipped Vietcong?: Purple Haze, a combo-pack containing Vietcong? and the Fist Alpha expansion pack. Featuring seven new character-based missions, eight new weapons and eight new on-line multiplayer maps, Vietcong: Fist Alpha gives players the opportunity to join an elite U.S. Special Forces team and takes the intense first-person shooter action further and deeper into the jungles of Vietnam. A campaign/level editor is also included for the legions of fan sites, clans and dedicated servers to expand game play even further.
