Xbox Gets Slugged

SNK NeoGeo Corporation recently announced that it will be bringing Metal Slug 3 to Xbox. The Metal Slug series is a popular 2D side-scrolling shooter that first appeared in the arcades.

The Xbox version of Metal Slug 3 will feature unlockable missions and will support the Xbox Live leaderboards. This installment of the series features over 10 new vehicles including the Slug Copter and the unusual Elephant Slug, which is equipped with a trunk-spray weapon.

This is the first time that Metal Slug 3 will appear on a home console. It will drop in May 2004. Stay tuned for more info as it comes out.
