Hori Announces Onimusha Contest

Brush up on your katana skills, kids.

Peripheral maker Hori has announced a contest to go along with its zany Onimusha 3 katana controller. The contest requires that participants send in a picture or video of their making use of the controller.

Winners will be chosen in a variety of categories: grand prize (1 winner), runner up (3 winners), best performance (1 winner), best idea (1 winner), best art (1 winner), Capcom award (1 winner, chosen by Capcom), Hori award (1 winner, chosen by Hori). Prizes will be announced in the future. All participants will be given a participation award -- a special Onimusha certificate.

Details and deadlines for this Japan-only contest can be seen at Hori's website.

The Onimusha 3 katana controller is a controller that's shaped like a katana. Waving the controller around results in characters in the game doing the same. The controller is scheduled for February 26 release alongside Onimusha 3.
