Silent Hill 4 is Coming

Some interesting news has come out of our sources in Japan today as IGN has learned that Konami TYO is already hard at work on the next installment of its super-popular Silent Hill series. Tentatively titled Silent Hill 4, this new game will feature a male protagonist instead of a female and offer an updated visual look in addition to other surprises.

The most interesting bit of news, however, is just how quickly the game will be ready -- As soon as late 2004 in Japan. And according to our moles close to the company, it could be even sooner than that.
