Max Payne 2 Due December 3

Yesterday IGN reported that in its most recent quarterly earnings, Rockstar said Max Payne 2: The Return of Max Payne would officially appear on Xbox and PlayStation 2. The loose date on the consoles was slated for first quarter 2004.

However, today Rockstar officials confirmed with IGN That Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will hit retail shelves earlier, December 3, 2003 to be exact. That's right. If you don't have a PC, you're in luck -- December 3, 2003.

Expect IGNXbox to have full details of the PS2 version as soon as humanly possible.
