Max Payne 2 in December

Yesterday IGN reported that in its most recent quarterly earnings, Rockstar said Max Payne 2: The Return of Max Payne would officially appear on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The loose date on the consoles was slated for first quarter 2004.

However, today Rockstar officials confirmed with IGN That Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will hit retail shelves earlier, December 3, 2003 to be exact. That's right. If you don't have a PC, you're in luck -- December 3, 2003.

Expect IGNPS2 to have full details of the PS2 version as soon as humanly possible.
